46" Outdoor placed in the Swiss Alps
In September 2009 a EuroTouch 46 FlexiMegaOutdoor panorama unit was installed in the beautiful Swiss Alps at a meter height of 2628. The unit is installed directly at the Aletsch Gletscher, the longest glacier in the European Alps; the contemporary, high-tech unit touch screen enabled and provides detailed information, animations and specific changes about the glacier over past hundred plus years.
The 46 FlexiMegaOutdoor unit has a weight of approx 170 kg and was delivered to the mountain by a helicopter and strategically placed in the middle of a viewpoint between mountainous rock and glacier ice.
Our German Partner, Ide-tec., deployed the high quality, extremely robust FlexiMegaOutdoor kiosk taking into careful consideration all the environmental conditions. The unit is complete with 10mm toughened security glass with UV protection, integrated touch screen and controller, 46 high brightness monitor with a brightness of 1500 cd/mē and a special PC-Controller with the necessary performance, to provide a wonderful user experience with interactive panorama images and beautiful animations.
